How Weefou Works
Weefou helps you discover nearby people around what you want to do: make friends, get coffee, find an activity partner, attend an event, travel, network or create another real plan.
Overview
Create your account and profile
Add accurate information, clear photos, your interests and the preferences used for discovery. The app is for adults aged 18 or older. Do not use somebody else’s identity or photo.
Choose what you are looking for
Select the broad social goal, then make it more specific. For example, choose Friends & Social and then Coffee Chat, Fitness Buddy or Weekend Plans.
The website should use the exact live app labels in screenshots and instructions.
Discover relevant nearby people
Browse people based on your choices, interests, preferences, location range and current availability. Nearby does not mean an exact home location should be shown or shared.
Local results depend on city activity. Weefou currently works best in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula.
Review the profile and communicate
Read the profile before responding. Start with the shared activity, ask practical questions and keep personal or financial information private.
A conversation is not a commitment to meet. Either person can decide not to continue.
Create a plan
Turn the conversation into something specific:
Example: “Coffee near Sector 17, Saturday 4–5 PM, each person pays for their own order, up to four people.”
- Activity and short title.
- Public area or venue.
- Day, start time and duration.
- Expected cost and equipment.
- Group size or participant limit.
Send or review plan requests
Where the live product provides requests, a person can respond to a plan and the host can accept or decline. Approval helps the host manage the group; it is not a guarantee of identity, attendance or safety.
Confirm before leaving
Use one confirmation moment. Recheck the public place, time, cost and attendance. If somebody no longer wants to go, they should decline or cancel rather than stop replying.
Meet safely and stay in control
Meet in public, tell somebody you trust, arrange your own transport and keep control of when you leave. Report or block users when needed. Weefou is not an emergency service.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an existing group?
No. You can discover relevant people first and then decide whether to create or respond to a plan.
Can a host choose who joins?
Where plan requests and host controls are enabled, the host can review requests and accept or decline them. Check the live product for the exact flow.
Does Weefou guarantee attendance?
No. A reply or accepted request does not guarantee that somebody will attend. Confirm again before leaving and choose a plan you can still handle if somebody cancels.
Is Weefou safe?
Weefou provides safety guidance and tools such as reporting and blocking. No app can guarantee user identity or offline conduct, so meet publicly and protect private information.
Can I use Weefou for dating?
Yes, as one optional use case. The same product can support friendship, coffee, fitness, events, travel, networking and other plans.
